What I did today, in no particular order:
- made baby food from pears and plums by steaming & pureeing the hell out of them, then pouring the goo into ice cubes & freezing it for later
- washed a huge load of diapers
- put everything back in the closet after 3 weeks of tripping over huge totes. My own fault for keeping my maternity clothes at the bottom of everything, but who knew I'd need to dig them out so soon?
- coached the baby into unusually long naps
- finished writing about the first day of our trip to Edmonton, posted it here. (There's also a link in the sidebar for future reference.)
- finished reading Midnight is a Place by Joan Aiken. I wish I'd started reading this woman's books when I was a child. Hell, I wish I'd started reading Dickens when I was a child.
- did all of the usual Blake stuff including breastfeeding, mush preparation, silly songs, chase games, bathing, dressing, diapering & encouragement of new milestones.
- watched an hour of dumb cartoons with the Boy. Because I want to, that's why.
And now, the sleep that knows no dreams.

Don't make me send out the Blake. He doesn't listen to *anyone.*
