all hallow's eve in pictures

This morning's visit to church was a costumed affair.

We also buried Blake's placenta today. We dug a deep hole...

... I said a few words, we put the frozen placenta in a receiving blanket...

... and we planted a lovely autumn blaze maple tree over top.

Little lamb, who made thee
Dost thou know who made thee
Gave thee life and bid thee feed,
By the stream and o'er the mead;
Gave thee clothing of delight,
Softest clothing wooly bright;
Gave thee such a tender voice,
Making all the vales rejoice;
Little lamb who made thee
Dost thou know who made thee?

- "The Lamb" by William Blake

There are more pictures from yesterday here, thanks to the lovely & generous Stacy. She's the fairy gothmother of our dreams.

Don't make me send out the Blake. He doesn't listen to *anyone.*
